Medicine Hat Adaptive Curling

Adaptive curling is a challenging, fun strategic team sport. The main difference in the game is that it is played with a delivery stick and most people throw the rock from a seated position (although not required).
Volunteers will help players get the rock in the starting position, assist with putting the delivery stick on the rock and if needed, hold players’ wheelchairs in place when they go to throw the rock! Volunteers assist to put the rocks back after each end and get them ready for the next players to go!

No experience with curling or working with people with disabilities is required.
