PSA Volunteer Opportunities
ONE-FOR-ALL
DAY CAMP VOLUNTEERS
Looking
for Day Camp volunteers to help out with our One-For-All Day Camps throughout
the summer. If you are available for any full weeks during the summer,
we would love your help. The day camp volunteers will help with supervision
of the campers, and help with playing and participating with them in the
various activities that are done during that week.
ROLLER
SLEDGE HOCKEY VOLUNTEERS
Looking for a volunteer to assist in the Roller Sledge Hockey Program
(under 18 years). The volunteer will help plan and run practices, assist
in off ice preparations including; equipment preparation, and player transfers.
Individual should enjoy working with children and have a background in
coaching hockey (preferable). Location: Shamrock Curling Club, Tuesdays,
May 6 - June 24, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
SOCCER
VOLUNTEER
Looking for a volunteer to help out with running practices and playing
with the participants. The participants are all younger aged kids who
are out there to run around and have fun while also learning some soccer
skills. Location: McKernan Public School, #2 Mini Soccer Field, Thursdays,
May 8 - June 26 from 6:30 -7:30 p.m.
RECREATION
COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
Looking for volunteers to assist with planning of recreation activities
for PSA members. Activities would include; bowling events, car rallies,
BBQ�s, and any fun activity we come up with! Location: PSA Office. Times
and dates will depend on activities planned.
VOLUNTEER
RECRUITMENT
Looking for volunteer to assist with the recruitment and screening of
potential volunteers. Duties: develop recruitment strategies, advertise
volunteer placements, assist interviewing and screening, and placement
of volunteers. Location: Home or PSA Office. Time commitment is approximately
1 to 3 hours per week.
