Paralympic Sports Association

As a non-profit registered charity, the Paralympic Sports Association for the past thirty-four years has been providing recreation and sport programs in the Edmonton, Alberta area for men, women and children with a physical disability. Members can find their own level of comfort in these programs, whether it be at the recreational or more competitive level.

Over the years, many elite athletes have developed from our programs and have distinguished themselves in national and international competitions. For example, two of our current athletes were selected to sledge hockey's Team Canada at the 1998 Paralympics held in Nagano, Japan, bringing home a Silver Medal.
