ATTENTION ALL MOTHERS! PSA is hosting the Brenda Barton 6th Annual Mothers’ Retreat Weekend Getaway. Designed to provide some much needed rest and relaxation to mothers who are often primary care givers for their children with disabilities.
For the last three years, PSA has renamed this annual event in memory of a wonderful mother, and past PSA member, Brenda Barton. One could always count on seeing Brenda and her family at all of the PSA special events and the Mothers’ Retreat was one event that was very important to Brenda and her fellow mothers at the PSA.
This years’ retreat will take place at the Village Creek Country Inn. This cozy accommodation is located in Alberta's Heartland, where it is nestled in the countryside at The Village at Pigeon Lake. The Resort is within walking distance to beautiful Pigeon Lake, one of Alberta's great recreation destinations, a picturesque boardwalk of country shops and services. The Inn has 34 charming rooms and a meeting room with a BBQ area that is perfect for the 2009 Mothers Retreat. For more information about the Inn. Please check out the web site at http://www.villagecreekcountryinn.com/Home
