Sailing

2008-2009

Want to try sailing?

Enjoy a weekend of fun on the lake! PSA members along with their family members can come out and enjoy the freedom of sailing! The Disabled Sailing Association of Alberta (DSA Alberta) will bring out sailing boats and (volunteer) staff to a lake near Edmonton. This event will allow 10 - 20 PSA members the opportunity to experience Sailing in an accessible sail boat. Participants will learn sailing and seamanship skills. New sailors will have the opportunity for non-stop fun in, on and around the water in a safe environment. No experience necessary, only a willingness to learn. The PSA has 2 flotation devices that are suitable for individuals in a wheelchair. There will also be a BBQ for sailors and their family members. Program will run depending on interest

Registration Fee: $10.00.. Call the PSA office at 780-439-8687 for more information
