Soccer
The
Soccer program is designed for individuals with a physical disability
who do not use a wheelchair (i.e. Ambulatory). This can include individuals
with Cerebral Palsy, Developmental/Global Delay or similiar disability.
Soccer is a very popular sport for individuals of all ages and abilities. With minimal modification and lots of support and help, these kids will learn and improve their skills in soccer while, at the same time, getting some great exercise and having fun.
THE
PROGRAM
Fall - A $10 registration fee and 1 bingo. The season runs from
September 30 to December 2 and January 6 to March 24 at the Glenrose Gymnasium,
Tuesday evenings from 6:15 - 7:00 p.m.
Spring/Summer - Outdoor soccer is May 7 - June 25, Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Alberta School for the Deaf Outdoor Soccer Field (6240-113 Street) and costs $35 or volunteer for 1 bingo. - Register by April 30th
