Fall/Winter Programs - Swimming

PSA's swim program works tp improve the skills of children with a variety of disabilities. Certified Instructors work with the swimmers to provide individualized instruction. Swimmers are further paired with a volunteer to offer one-on-one assistance (when necessary) in addition to instruction. Participants will go through the YMCA adapted Aqua-Advantage swim program to obtain their levels if that is their goal! Each swimmer will be graded in the Fall and Spring term.

PROGRAMS RUNS

 

Novice:  2:00 - 3:00 PM                      Intermediate:    3:00 - 4:00 PM

Saturday at the Don Wheaton Family YMCA pool (10211—102 Ave

September 17 – December 10, 2011 (excluding October 8 & November 5)

January 14 – April 21, 2012 (excluding Feb. 18 & April 7)

 

 

*FREE PARKING during your swim lessons! The first 3 hours in the YMCA Parkade on Saturdays are FREE!!!

 

PROGRAM FEES

$ 120 or 2 Bingos

In order to participate in programs, individuals are required to obtain an annual PSA membership.
